About John Ross
John T. Ross is a dedicated candidate running for the Sylvania School Board with a passion for education that runs deep within his veins. With a marriage spanning 46 years, he and his beloved wife Susan have stood as pillars of support and commitment. Together, they have raised two remarkable children, Elizabeth and John II (Sean), instilling in them the values of hard work and the importance of a quality education.
John’s journey in education started when he graduated from The University of Toledo in 1975. His time at the university not only shaped his academic foundation but also sparked his lifelong love for community involvement. His dedication to athletics and outstanding performance led to his induction into the University of Toledo Athletic Hall of Fame. John attends Church 3 Twenty-One, where he actively participates in community outreach and service. His wealth of experience, unwavering commitment to the community, and strong family values make him a trustworthy candidate for the Sylvania School Board, committed to the betterment of education and the future of our children.
